WABC Radio celebrates the Greek Independence Day, March 25th!

On Monday, March 25 2024 WABC Radio celebrated Greek Independence Day with a full day of interviews, a roundtable discussion, dancing, and music! Everyone also enjoyed the delicious Greek food donated by Kyma Restaurant.

Greek Independence Day, also known as “Εικοστή Πέμπτη Μαρτίου” (Evdomi Martiou) in Greek, is a momentous occasion celebrated annually on March 25th. This significant day commemorates the Greek War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire, which ultimately led to the birth of modern Greece.
