NOTE: Registration is only valid if accompanied by a tuition payment.

Recurring Payment Authorization Notice

By completing and submitting the payment form, you hereby authorize The Greek School of Plato to charge your credit/debit card on a recurring monthly basis for the tuition fees associated with your child’s enrollment. The payment will be made on the first of every month. This authorization will remain in effect until you provide written notice to terminate the authorization, which must be received at least 30 days prior to the next scheduled payment date. If you have any questions or need to update your payment information, please contact our administration office. Thank you for your cooperation and prompt attention to this matter.

Acceptance of Terms

by checking the box and signing, you agree to the conditions below. *Behavior PolicySchool culture and climate have a profound impact on students’ academic progress and their relationships with peers and adults. The Greek School of Plato (GSOP) is expected to promote a positive school culture that provides students with a supportive environment in which to grow both socially and academically. Parents and students must know and understand the standards of behavior that all students are expected to live up to, and the consequences if these standards are not metAttendance and Lateness PolicyWhether in person or online, it is imperative to the progression of your child’s language studies to participate in every class. We understand that students are over-loaded with American school commitments, homework, and activities and time is valuable and limited. However, your child’s progress is influenced to a great extent by constant participation. Again, whether in person or online, please make sure your child is on time, as latenesses disrupt the educational flow of all students in the class.Attendance is taken at the beginning of every class and is factored into the final grades.Media And Social Media Parental ConsentFor the purpose of disseminating information to the public, students in the Greek School of Plato are occasionally interviewed, photographed or filmed by school officials and/or media outlets as part of district, school and/or classroom, extracurricular and/or athletic activities. In this electronic age, it is sometimes the case that print media formats are then further distributed electronically via the Internet.As you are aware, there are potential dangers associated with the posting of personally identifiable information on a web site, since global access to the Internet does not allow us to control who may access such information. These dangers have always existed; however, the Greek School of Plato do want to celebrate your child and his/her work.This form requests permission for using your child’s name and image only. The school will not release residential addresses, email addresses, phone numbers or locations and times of class trips. The Greek School of Plato has no control of the use of images or statements that are taken or distributed without permission. I agree to hold the Greek School of Plato, its representatives, employees and successors, individually or otherwise, harmless from any claims damages, actions or liabilities of any kind relating to the public display of my child’s name and image.I understand that by enrolling in the Greek School of Plato, I give Permission to Release to Media box above gives permission for the use, without fee, of my child’s name and image for legitimate school purposes in any print or electronic format for public distribution, including the Internet. This includes, but is not limited to, newspapers, television, video and web-casts, yearbook, bulletin boards, web sites, wikis, blogs, and the like. If I would like to opt out of this consent, I understand I must send an email to office@gsopbrooklyn.org.
